At this point if I could travel anywhere in the world I would go to the Bahama's. I would go there because its freezing here in Michigan and I love going to tropical places and swimming and tanning.  It would be so nice to get away.  Even though I cant miss any school so it would have to wait until spring break.  I would be turning 18 over spring break so it would be great to celebrate it there.  I would perferably go with my friends and not my family.

 

Christmas Break

My time off was pretty good.  It started out pretty boring but I was sick so I needed to rest anyway.  On Christmas Eve I went over to my Grandma Bowersox's house for dinner and presents.  Although I got really sick so I couldnt eat much food.  Christmas day I woke up with my brother and two sisters and opened up presents with my mom.  Then I headed to my Grandma VanNieuwenhze's house.  We ate and then opened up gifts there also.  The rest of my break consisted of hanging out with friends and sleeping.  We did attempt to go sledding but when we got there we realized that we forgot the sleds.  My new years resolution is to stop eating so much junk food so we will see how that goes.

I chose to use the picture of the tree and bridge.  I do not think that this photograph is good photography at all. I like the bridge in the picture.  I also think that the sky looks bery pretty.  I like how they caught the bush blowing in the wind. But their are also some things that I do not like.  When you first look at the picture you see the tree first, when they really want you to focus on the bridge.  Also the sidewalk draws your attention and it should not because it does not look good in the picture.  Also the photograph should have been more bright and should have been edited a little bit.  I think that a good photographer has a good camera, a good imagination, and also good skills with good picture taking.  Anyone can be a photographer if they practice a lot and have the right supplies.  What wows me when I see a good picture is the main focus in the picture and how they caught the picture. 

Something that I do everyday that most people wouldn't be able to do is work in a preschool.  Everyday after fourth hour I go to the LISD Tech Center and help out in the preschool.  I am considered a co-op student and I get credits and money for working.  My day starts out by putting down the children's cots for nap time.  They always complain because they don't get to nap by their friends.  This job takes lots and lots of patience and practice.  You must first get the preschoolers to follow your directions, after that you have to guide them through whatever activity your doing.  Then you must make sure they are doing the activity correctly.  And if a child gets in an argument with another child you have to talk them through it and solve the problem the most logic way.  It is not an easy job but everyone should know how to deal with children because most of you will have kids in the future!

A new piece of technology I would love to have is an IPad.  I would love to have this apple product because theres so many things you can do with it that nothing else can do and you can take it on the go!  I would use this piece of technology for fun (of course) but also for educational purposes.  There is a wide variety of applications that can be downloaded to help with everything in school that you could imagine!  It would help me be a lot more organized and keep my life more on track for school and especially when i start my college classes next fall.  The Ipad is defiantly a very useful product to invest in and I would love having one!

This four day weekend was needed!  Wednesday I hungout with Isaac and his family.  Thursday at three I had a family lunch/dinner at my Grandma Bowersox's house.  Then at five I headed over to Isaac's family dinner at his grandmothers.  That night at eight I went to Toledo and went shopping for black Friday.  First me and my friend Ashley went to Target the line was crazy and wrapped all around the outside of the building!  So we left and went to the Toledo Mall.  We got there at ten and waited till eleven to go inside.  We had to sprint to Victora's Secret to wait in line for another hour! I was twelenth in line and the line went all the way to Maceys! It was insane.  The next day I just kind of hungout at home and spent some time with my family until about nine and then I went out to dinner with my friend Lucas at Applebee's.  Sunday I just stayed home slept in and did homework! It was good to have a four day weekend.

Thanksgiving is this Thursday! To me Thanksgiving really represents family.  It also means freedom and food!  We celebrate with family and eat every year. Its such a good time.  My favorite foods to eat on thanksgiving are pumpkin pie and ham! I also love any kind of potatos that my family makes; cheesy, mashed, and baked.  Every year at 1 me, my sisters, and my brother head out to my Grandma VanNieuwenhze's house for a thanksgiving dinner/lunch.  We stay there till about 3 and then head out to my Grandma Bowersox's house for an actual Thanksgiving dinner.  We always play apples to apples and uno after dinner. This year I will also be attending my boyfriends family dinner at 6.  I will be so full.  We celebrate thanksgiving to remember our newly found land and all the food that the pilgrams and the indians shared!
